Artist introduction:
I’m a 16 year old student from oxford and I write and produce music electronically, I release my music under the name ‘Aidan St4rr’ and am currently unsigned. Most of my music available for free download (I’d rather 20 people listen to my music for free than five people pay for it!). I am a solo artist however I sometimes remix other artist’s songs. At the moment I just have a passion for making music for people to dance to and I’m pretty happy with it not being too serious!
Aims:
Over the next year I hope to just continue playing shows and making people dance! I’ve been playing around with lots of different sounds recently and I would definitely be looking for collaborations in the future. This time next year I hope to have a strong list of gigs under my belt and some more experience in the music industry.
With his blend of contemporary artist remixes and his off-the-wall pieces, he demonstrates a clear talent and original sound – Aidan St4rr is a local artist to truly look out for. A personal favorite of mine is ‘let it snow’ a truly sick piece that has taken up permanent residence on my iPod; I expect to see a lot from Aidan in the future and will enjoy interviewing on his latest projects soon.
