The Wombats are back with another song from their upcoming album ‘The Wombats Proudly Present… This Modern Glitch‘ which is to be released in April this year. ‘Jump into the Fog’ whilst trying to sound more musically grown up with the heavy synths, guitars and drums you can’t help but sigh at some of the lyrics: “It’s not a big problem with me love / You don’t look that hygienic anyway / I’m only here because / I want to twist the structure of my average day” It does however ask the question of what the new album will sound like due to their usual happy sounding indie pop disco that the Liverpudlians are most known for with their debut. ‘Jump into the Fog’ won’t have you jumping around the room, but it will get you nodding your head to it’s catchy beat that will no doubt be planted into your head for the next few days.
Jump into the Fog is released on iTunes today (23rd January) with 3 exclusive b-sides ‘How I Miss Sally Bray,’ ‘Valentine’ and ‘Addicted to the Cure.’
