KENNYHOOPLA, real name Kenneth La’ron, hails from Cleveland, Ohio, and only started writing music three years ago.
The title track of KENNYHOOPLA’s debut EP ‘how will i rest in peace if i’m buried by a highway?//’ was the first time he wrote using a six-string guitar, and he’s claimed that he doesn’t really know how to play, yet he’s always felt like he understood the guitar.
Oh, and the ‘Hoopla’? Well, that was inspired by a scene from SpongeBob SquarePants.
