LUNA AURA is a genre-bending alt. powerhouse and a triple threat (singer, songwriter and producer) that delivers tracks with messages about rebellion, feminism, and individuality.
In an Instagram post about the new track, LUNA said: “This is my dog’s favorite song off the EP, she told me it makes her want to chew things up but she won’t cuz she’s a good girl. I wrote this song with @jtdalyart and it’s about using your voice and NOT PUTTING UP WITH ANYONE’S SHIT. Dedicated to all the nasty women in my life. I’m so excited it’s finally here. I can’t stop crying and screaming and laughing and crying!!” and if that doesn’t make you want to listen, what will?
The original release of the debut EP, named THREE CHEERS FOR THE AMERICAN BEAUTY, was set for Summer 2020, but has been rescheduled in support of the current civil rights movement and issues she feels deserve America’s undivided attention. LUNA has instead focused efforts on creating a series of interactive short stories and visuals that will work in tandem with the EP.
