HAYEY WILLIAMS has surprise dropped 17 new songs belonging to an album fans think is named ‘EGO.’
The name is taken from a new semi-permanent hair dye of the same name through her Good Dye Young company. The brand originally unveiled 2,000 limited-edition signed cartons of their all-new colour, before then hinting, “Meet the shade that unlocks the soundtrack to your summer…”
Fans who purchased the shade were then emailed a 16-digit access code, which when used over on hayleywilliams.net, took them to a webpage containing 17 downloads of the new solo tracks. Included in those 17 songs was MIRTAZAPINE which was released last week, as well as a track named DISCOVERY CHANNEL, which, according to Pitchfork, interpolates Bloodhound Gang’s The Bad Touch.
